Good day to everyone reading this review! My name is Tamara. We are from Kyrgyzstan. My husband was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis four years ago. We were told it developed due to viral hepatitis B and D, which he likely contracted 10-15 years ago at a dentist's office. He took medication and followed a diet for four years, but the cirrhosis progressed over time, and a transplant became necessary.
The clinic (Artemis Hospital) and Dr. Bora were recommended to us by people who work for a charity in Kyrgyzstan.
So, we arrived in India a month and a half ago.
We began preparing for the surgery, underwent a thorough checkup, and underwent various tests to ensure both the recipient and donor were suitable for the surgery at the Artemis Clinic. This took exactly one week. After learning that the test results were suitable, we were informed about the surgery the following day. And so the big day arrived. It seemed endless, time ticked by so slowly (the recipient's surgery lasted 11-12 hours, the donor's 8 hours). My head kept hurting, and I probably cried a whole bunch.
And my happiness knew no bounds; the surgeries were successful! I cried for three days afterward, of course, from happiness.
Dr. Giriraj Bora is an undeniable professional, a true surgeon! He's a gentleman and the embodiment of humanity. Words cannot fully express my admiration.
